Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and other backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to design schemas and optimize queries.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with new Python frameworks, libraries, and tools to improve development efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in Python development.
• Strong understanding of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, or Angular) for integration purposes.
• Background in data engineering, data science, or machine learning applications using Python.
